Despite facing federal wire fraud charges both State Representative Carol Ammons and her husband Champaign County Clerk Aaron Ammons look to have won re-election.
Carol Ammons defeated write-in candidate Keith Smith while Aaron Ammons defeated Republican Challenger Alan Anderson.
The Ammons are scheduled to have their federal court case start tentatively on December 7th.
