Two Springfield men were arrested on stolen gun charges after fleeing a traffic stop on November 1st.
Springfield Police say the two men started to flee from a traffic stop when one of the men jumped out of the car and fled on foot. While fleeing the man dropped a loaded hand gun.
Police eventually caught Zamarion Heard and charged him with possession of a stolen firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and for not having a FOID card.
The driver of the car Messiah Davis was also arrested and charged with possession of a stolen firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and for not having a FOID card.
