If you do karaoke, even casually, you may have a song in your back-pocket that you KNOW you can NAIL. And it’s even better if it’s something super tricky . . . like “Baby Got Back”.
If you go often, you’ve seen people UNDERESTIMATE a challenging song . . . and then CRASH AND BURN. Which is simultaneously painful and awesome to witness.
At Ranker.com, people are voting on the most difficult songs to sing at karaoke, so here are the ones you should DEFINITELY AVOID if you’re a novice:
1. “I Will Always Love You”, Whitney Houston
2. “Bohemian Rhapsody”, Queen
3. “Dream On”, Aerosmith
4. “Rap God”, Eminem
5. “My Heart Will Go On”, Celine Dion
6. “All By Myself”, Celine Dion
7. “Unchained Melody”, The Righteous Brothers
8. “Take on Me”, A-ha
9. “Chandelier”, Sia
10. “Somebody to Love”, Queen
11. “Emotions”, Mariah Carey
12. “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”, The Darkness
13. “Hello”, Adele
14. “Hallelujah”, Jeff Buckley.
15. “Barracuda”, Heart
(There are more than 50 at the full ranking, which are fun to peruse . . . especially if you can mentally picture Becky from legal taking any of these on. Like #20: “We Didn’t Start the Fire”!)
