Southbound lanes of Illinois Route 29 just east of Interstate 55 will be closed later this Monday morning due to tree removal.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says the southbound lanes of Route 29 will be closed from I-55 to Tuxhorn Road from 9 o’clock this morning until about 2:30 p.m.
Local access to Tansey Road will be permitted. Northbound lanes will not be affected.
