If you’re entering your “Middle Age” era . . . or already have . . . what were the sneaky signs that you were crossing over? Someone on social media asked, “When did it first hit you that you’re not that young anymore?”
And here are some of the best responses . . .
1. “When the babysitter complimented my new haircut by saying ‘lots of people your age are wearing it like that now too.'”
2. “When I brought up Inspector Gadget to a 20-something at my work and he said, ‘What the heck is that?'”
3. “When I go to a bar and don’t know (and often don’t like) any of the music playing. But when I go to the supermarket, it’s banger after banger!”
4. “When I got legitimately excited about buying a new coffee table. Reality hits hard, but the table is very good.”
5. “When a woman referred to me as a ‘lady’ to her daughter at a store.”
6. “When I started having trouble reading small print.” (Just small fonts, not THE small print. No one reads that.)
7. “When hangovers last more than a day.”
8. “When I was googling ‘6-7’ the other day.”
9. “When I threw my back out coughing.”
10. “When I’m looking at myself in the mirror, and thinking, ‘Damn . . . Costco clothes be looking decent!'”
