A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for possessing and distributing child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of Illinois said 48-year-old Daniel Brannan pleaded guilty in June and was sentenced last week.
He was arrested in December 2025. Investigators said Brannan had more than 5,000 images and 34 videos, including those with toddlers and infants.
