Summertime is here, which means your kids are out of school and looking to have fun. If you work from home, or suddenly find yourself feeling guilty for not having enough time to spend with them . . . you’re not alone.
And your kids feel it, too. In a study from a few years back, 70% of kids said their parents are too distracted.
Here’s what a psychologist said about it, “During the day-to-day, we quite easily slip into routines and forget to make space for that quality time together . . . So a break away with the family, whether it’s mid-week or weekend, is a great opportunity to switch off and engage in fun activities with your kids.”
Here are the Top Ten activities kids want to do with their parents more:
1. Go to the beach
2. Exercise together
3. Play sports
4. Go to the pool
5. Go to the movies
6. Play at a park
7. Go camping
8. Take a day-trip to the zoo, museum, or amusement park
9. Play video games
10. Go shopping
