On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 4, Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher announced the departure of her Chief of Staff Mike Disco.
“I want to thank Mike Disco for his service and contributions to the City of Springfield,” wrote Buscher. “I appreciate his efforts on behalf of our residents and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
At the time of announcement, no reason was given for Disco’s exit. Mayor Buscher’s office wrote, “This transition reflects the administration’s ongoing commitment to aligning leadership with its vision for the future of Springfield.”
Further updates about the position of Chief of Staff are expected in weeks to come.
