The Artist Spotlight today was able to premiere the new song from Fivefold called “Mess I Make” this morning. The song features guest vocals from KG Lilian. Here is what the band had to share about the song:
For the first time in their career, St. Louis rock band Fivefold is teaming up with another artist on a track—and it’s a meaningful one. Their new single, “MESS I MAKE,” features longtime friend and rising alt-pop singer KG Lillian, blending raw emotion with soaring melodies and a shared musical chemistry years in the making.
“After years of friendship and mutual respect, this long-awaited collaboration feels as natural as it is powerful. “We’ve known KG Lillian for a long time—so when we decided to do our first collab ever, there was no question who it would be with,” says Fivefold frontman Ryan Cheney.
“MESS I MAKE” explores themes of self-sabotage and emotional accountability, pairing Fivefold’s signature rock intensity with KG Lillian’s haunting, heartfelt vocals. The result is a dynamic, genre-blurring anthem that pushes both artists into new sonic territory without losing the core of who they are.
